Long known as a hotbed of underground right-wing activity, one of America’s largest towns is once again stepping forward to fight the good fight. That city? Los Angeles, of course.

Wait a minute.  Los Angeles?  Really?

It seems that all over the city, mysterious posters have been appearing in random locations.  No one knows who’s behind them, but the weird images have been popping up all over the place.  They feature president Obama, decked out in full “Joker” makeup, accompanied by the single word “socialism.”

If a veritable left-wing mecca like L.A. is starting to see this kind of thing, the administration’s train may truly be about to jump the track.

Los Angeles?  You have our attention.  Keep up the good work.

UPDATE: Apparently, the posters have begun showing up in Atlanta as well.

The president, despite some erroneus claims that the date was concocted by the media, said he wanted health care reform passed by the August break.  At that point, congressmen would head home, and have a chance to learn what people really thought of the socialized medicinee plans presented in the House and Senate.

Well, it’s August, the reforms the president claims we need have yet to pass, the congressmen are returning to their states, and their constituents are letting them know what they think.

First up is the Democrat bastion of Austin Texas, where Representative Lloyd Doggett (D) held a meeting on Obamacare….

Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter (D) faced an already angry crowd which erupted when he suggested that decisions needed to be “made very fast” and that it was difficult to read all 1000 pages of a health care bill.

If this is the kind of reception Congress is going to receive when its members return to their states, no wonder the administration has been trying to ram the bill through so quickly.

Support was waning before the recess.  When the politicians return, it will be interesting to see whether they actually represent the people they claim to.

In recent weeks, Obama and his cronies have spent a great deal of time mocking those who suggest his health care plan is nothing more than a way to eventually eliminate private insurance.  He constantly chuckles at those “conspiracy nuts” who dare claim he’s some kind of socialist looking for for a single-payer system, and has promised, again and again, that such a plan isn’t his goal.  He just wants more “competition.”  He swears up and down that you’ll be able to keep your private plan if you like it, and that he will protect your right to do so….

The following video does a good job of pointing out what an unmitigated liar he is.
